Dennis Greene

My investing journey began in 1986 as a newly commissioned Air Force Second Lieutenant and continues to this day. I obtained my insurance and securities licenses in 1992 while serving on active duty, helping clients, friends, and family along the way, prior to retiring from the Air Force in June 2011 as a Colonel. I completed a second career as a Federal Investigator with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Denver, Colorado, sharpening my Thrift Savings Plan expertise prior to beginning my journey as a full-time financial advisor. While in Denver, I served as CEO of a local Chamber of Commerce, engaging with the community at large.

I’ve experienced market ups and downs and learned that consistency, not market timing, is the key to success. I’ve learned that paying yourself first is really the only time you get paid. The rest is just wealth transfer. As a financial professional, I’ve learned not only the legal meaning of putting clients first but also the personal meaning and relish the satisfaction it brings. I am inspired by the opportunity to serve clients from all walks of life, including business owners and their employees, and to deliver comprehensive financial strategies for high-net-worth clients.

I grew up in Savannah, Georgia, and reside in Hampton, Virginia, with my wife, Jacqueline, having reared two grown sons who also reside in the area. You will often find us at classic car events, sporting events, parks, local beaches, nature trails, or participating in local community outings.

Outside the office, I pursue many volunteer activities, including:
• Arbitrator, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA)
• Board of Directors, RAMS Ministries – Hampton, Virginia
• Volunteer mentor serving several organizations
• Numerous Chamber, City, Church and Community Outreach Events

Through it all, I have found that strong relationships are key.
